The hotel is opposite the Bismarckplatz tram stop, with direct trams to Heidelberg Train Station in 5 minutes. A nearby parking garage offers convenient parking. The location at the entrance to the old town was perfect, the tram is practically at the door, and there are plenty of walking‑distance dining options.

The location is excellent, clean and comfortable. The hotel does not have a concierge service; the front desk is in a nearby building.

The bed was comfortable, roomy enough for two, and a portable air conditioner was provided. All the stairs, which we knew when we booked, are not for the faint‑hearted if you have anything more than carry‑on luggage. The long thin pillows were ok when folded over. The small fridge was provided but wasn’t very cool, so I didn’t really trust it.

The hotel’s location is convenient, everything is easily reachable by public transport. The shower in the bathroom poses a challenge for guests with mobility issues or older guests.
