Hotel Plattenwirt is situated 200 metres from Lake Wörth's banks, adjacent to Europapark, and a 10-minute walk from Minimundus miniature park and Klagenfurt University. Accessible from the A2 highway's Klagenfurt-Wörthersee exit, the hotel offers free WiFi. Rooms feature satellite TV, bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. A sun terrace, shaded garden, boat rental, and beach volleyball court are available. Bus stop is 50 metres away.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights for the Wörthersee Marathon. The hotel’s location is great, right next to the lake, and our room was beautiful with an awesome view. The staff were friendly and helpful. On the race morning, breakfast opened an hour earlier for the runners, and everyone wished us good luck and cheered us on. The cherry on top was Emma, the hotel dog.

The location by the lake is superb, and the lady at reception was very nice. There’s nothing to complain about.

The location was great for a quick stop along the highway, but the room we got was already showing its age. The carpet felt worn and there was a strange odor that made the stay uncomfortable.
