AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cambridge

The property was top tier and housekeeping was immaculate, yet I encountered a problem at check‑in that made me feel very uncomfortable, so I would choose another Marriott property and not return here.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with large rooms that are well maintained, but its remote location means there are no parking arrangements for car owners and daily parking is expensive.

“It was a nice hotel in a good location and the price was very good for its value.”

The room was spacious and clean, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was good; we especially appreciated the senior staff member in the restaurant who always greeted us immediately, explained the menu, and the young man at the reception desk was very friendly and his giggling was enjoyable. The hotel sits conveniently near a train station, but walking from the station was difficult in the dark and rain, so we took an Uber; on the second day a staff member showed us the way and walking to the station became easy. Other than that attentive senior gentleman, other staff were not as helpful: the young lady in the kitchen stared at her phone and didn’t bother to greet guests, so we had to work to get her attention when ordering.

The staff were friendly, especially at the front desk, and there were no negatives.

“Would stay again!”

Clean, modern, and the dinner menu food was excellent, but it’s hard to reach and the continental breakfast is pricey; the dinner menu is also very limited.
