Mellow was a lovely hostel right across from the beach. The location is a bit off from Ahangama’s main hub, so I caught tuk tuks everywhere, but picking them up on PickMe was easy and I had no trouble. The room was simple and comfortable with great AC. It was low season, so unfortunately they weren’t running yoga classes, which I didn’t know about when booking, but otherwise I had a comfortable and nice stay at Mellow.

The staff were super nice and helpful, and there’s an in‑house café with discounted prices for hostel guests. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location isn’t beachfront as advertised, which was a bummer because we really wanted a beachfront spot, but it’s just across the street from the beach, so it wasn’t a big deal.

Rooms are cozy and the beds are so comfy! Huge plus – the café attached to the hostel is very convenient for grabbing a meal, coffee, or just hanging out.

I was very satisfied with the price‑performance. I had planned a quiet, peaceful holiday and it turned out exactly as I wanted. The staff are very attentive and treat guests like they’re at home.

Amazing staff; everyone was super kind and helpful. The dorms are great, with lockers and curtains. The café/restaurant from the hostel is a bit expensive, mostly western food on the menu. You get a discount if you’re from the hostel, but for some reason during the next days only if you pay by cash. Even though the food was good.
