Each room features a balcony or terrace. Guests relax on a sun terrace, in a hot tub, or by a fireplace, with barbecue facilities. The beach is an 18‑minute walk away, and free Wi‑Fi connects the property.

I loved the location—everything was within walking distance—and the host was very accommodating. However, the accommodation didn’t include breakfast or basic items like a iron, hair dryer (the owner kindly lent me hers), sugar, salt, or fresh bath towels (they had mentioned towels but I missed the message; they did provide some used ones to get by). These small omissions mattered, but given the price I didn’t worry too much, even though it turned out to be a bit more expensive than the value.

The spot is outstanding, especially for us who were unfamiliar with Praia do Rosa; it’s close to the beach, a market, pharmacy, and restaurants. The lodge’s setup is unique, nicely shaded, and the room is spotless and new with an excellent bed. The only downside was that towels weren’t supplied; we arrived during a week of Carnival, so new sets at check‑in would have been very welcome.
