The dormitory was very cozy and clean. Both innkeepers were very friendly. Because there weren’t many guests, a hearty personal breakfast was prepared daily. For a school holiday camp it was truly well maintained and well equipped. The building shows its age in places, but that’s minor and will be renovated in the future. The value for money is absolutely fine.

The hostel was simple, just a hostel, yet it was very functional, friendly, helpful, personal, and really there for you. Breakfast included vegan options. All requests were met immediately—extra blanket, kettle in the room, and help organizing the return trip when a storm threatened. The sea is a few steps through the dunes for sunrise and sunset. Swimming isn’t possible because the coast is protected. A bike can be borrowed to reach the village in 20 minutes. The hostel was perfect.

The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful! The beds (slatted frames) could use some refurbishment.

The staff were very friendly, always helpful and listening. The vibe was calm and pleasant, letting me relax easily. Breakfast was tailored and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely return!
