“No volvería.”

The place was clean. The photos are nothing like reality. The building’s exterior is shameful, and once inside there’s no lobby; you go straight to the shared kitchen. I was given room 101 on the ground floor next to the kitchen where everything can be heard, from people entering and leaving to the dryer that people run at poorly chosen times. The room is very small, barely fits suitcases, and the bed is against the wall. There is a window, but it’s blocked, so no view. The neighborhood is about 25‑30 minutes by subway from Seoul’s main attractions.

The place was spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful, and even though the room was small it had everything I needed. The only downside was that the location was a bit farther than I had expected.

“值得回訪”

The common area had everything you could imagine, with a huge variety of instant noodles that were restocked daily, and the staff were very friendly and enthusiastic—thanks a lot for taking care of us. The bed was comfy, the room had a big TV with plenty of channels, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby, a lot of claw machines, and the subway was close by so getting around was easy; ordering take‑out was simple to locate, and the nearby shops stayed open late, even Mega Coffee, so I never worried about staying out late and could rely on many 24‑hour snack spots.

The staff were polite, but they were very strict about the rules. Parking was disappointing; if you’re doing parallel parking, there should be an attendant, especially for a lodging place. I was worried about the car behind me leaving late, and at 11:30 PM I was told to leave, which was very inconvenient. With a space like this, I would have chosen a different place. And there were two cars? Parking? That makes the claim of being a parking‑friendly establishment meaningless. They should manage guests’ car keys and organize parking to truly promote themselves as a place with parking. It seems this is because international tourists use it a lot. To make matters worse, since I stayed on the first floor, people mistook me for the manager, so I even had to help with inquiries and check‑ins for other rooms because of complaints from foreigners. I wonder if this is just a characteristic of the area—Gangbuk, really.

Instant ramen was always available, and I could drink iced coffee whenever I was tired, which was great.
