“Fun weekend, but very misleading accommodations. READ BELOW”
The room had a cozy charm and a typical bed, with a bathroom that met our minimal needs while we spent a full day skiing. The mountain was close, and the location balanced forest serenity with nearby nightlife and après‑ski. Parking was ample, even over the weekend and at the start of the week, which made the stay more enjoyable. However, the room stayed cool at only 63 °F, so it was hard to warm up after a cold weekend. The promised pool and hot tub were unavailable; the facility was locked and the sports area might close without prior notice, which would have helped to know before booking a room with hot tub access. Finally, the condo wasn’t actually ski‑off; while there is a trail from Killington to the condo area, you can’t ski or snowboard back to the condos. The one‑mile hike with skis and boards was a major let‑down, though it could be a nice cross‑country trail. Despite these issues, we appreciated the parts that made our stay memorable and hope future guests will see improvements.
