“Erg fijne plek!”

A lovely spot in beautiful Juayua, perfect if you want to escape noise and enjoy a nice view. Luis and his nephew were very friendly and helpful, offering great tips and answering any question. The bed was good, there was a fan, and everything was kept tidy. Juayua makes a great base to explore the region’s highlights. The location is a bit farther from the center and you have to walk uphill, but that means you’re away from the noise and chaos.

“Perfect stay!”

I absolutely loved my stay at Bambu Hostel. The owner is incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely helpful. He takes the time to explain everything there is to do in the area in great detail and makes sure you have all the information you need. From the moment you arrive, you truly feel welcome and at home. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, and the location is perfect. It’s in a quiet area where you can really relax, yet only a short walk from the centre. The beautiful garden is another highlight – it’s a peaceful place to unwind after a day of exploring. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Juayúa.

“L’hôte nous fait sentir comme à la maison!”

I stayed at Bambu Hostel in July and felt right at home. Luis was an exceptional host, giving me loads of recommendations for places to visit—waterfalls, restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, nearby villages, and more. The dorm was comfortable, tap water was available in the kitchen, and laundry could be done. A special thanks to Luis and his cousin for hanging my clothes and saving them from the rain! Muchas gracias por todo 🫶
