This small, cozy hotel with very nice, varied rooms impressed us! Maureen, the owner, is a wonderful woman and Candy prepared a fantastic breakfast; the only downside was that the duvets were very heavy and the room was a bit dark.

The staff were adorable, the breakfast was super, and the location was perfect for hiking.

The setting was fantastic, the staff were very good, breakfast was amazing, and the kayak use was a bonus; they even offered wine, beer, etc. in the room for purchase. The owner went to great lengths to create a fabulous theme in the room, and there were lovely fluffy blankets and a brolly supplied for bad weather.

The reception staff and general workers were attentive, the facilities and surroundings were beautiful, and you could take canoes at no extra cost. The breakfast was spectacular with views!
