“Disappointed”
I’m grateful that the platform let me redo my review and explain why the bad rating. Just like Alena said, the reviews are far too good compared to the reality of the stay; I wouldn’t have minded if the owner hadn’t been rude right away. I called to say I was already at the accommodation (we received no prior instructions about where the keys were, just where to park) and was met with a rude response. They may have put zip ties on the closet and locked the sauna to hide the mess inside, but the overall place is full of dust and sometimes smells bad from the plumbing. The shower door still doesn’t close, there’s a lot of gym equipment that is obviously too dirty and dusty to use, the bed was very uncomfortable to lie on, and overall it felt odd staying there, as if we were intruding. It didn’t feel worth the money; I’ll show Alena’s post and pictures because the place looks exactly the same. The first review upset the host, but I’m sticking to explaining the low rating here instead of private messages because I don’t value mean communication.
