The location and self check‑in were fine. There was no running water in the bathroom, surfaces were dirty, rats were everywhere— we could hear them at night and one chewed through my new backpack. The noise from the rats lasted all night.

The bamboo cottage is charming, run by a truly sweet gentleman who readily offers help; we arrived very late and he even guided us to local eateries. The house is clean and well kept, matching what you expect from a small seaside town. The bed is a bit small for a couple, but we managed fine.
