The location in a lovely village was great. Dinner was tasty with plenty of portions, and breakfast was cooked to order and delicious too. Getting back after the pub closed was easy. The room was a bit warm, but a fan was provided. Planes flying overhead made it noisier than expected. Parking was on the road, so we had to park a short distance away.

Everything was great: the bedroom and bathroom were lovely, the bed was super comfy, the location was good, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent – one of the best meals we’ve had recently, and such good value.

The bedroom felt like a cloud, and the toiletries were a delight. Staff were welcoming, helpful, and professional. The bar buzzed with energy, and the spread of bar meals and snacks was just right for casual dining. I can’t think of any downside.

Lovely staff , great location and wonderful breakfast. We were in the attic room on a very hot night. The small windows only opened less than 30 cm and with the fan provided we could not cool the room sufficiently to sleep. The length of the restrictors need reviewing and provide a bigger fan x2 one in bathroom and other in bedroom to move the air and bring in the cool air in the evening. After the cleaner is done they should open the windows and pull the blinds down to cool the room for guests rather than leave it to heat up like an unvented glass house
