“potenzialità elevate erose da scelte gestionali rivedibili.”
The building is very nice even though it’s on the outskirts. It’s easy to reach from a fast-moving street. The rooms are clean and fairly large. The pool is nice but we couldn’t use it because we didn’t have a mask (we chose to skip buying one on site and instead went to the beach). The price is high for the location and services. Using a mask is mandatory, yet we found nobody had one (it’s unclear if that’s a fake rule since no one checked – we avoided checking). In the lobby and corridor there’s a kind of “wireless diffusion” that plays loud music, disturbing both afternoons and early mornings. The music is awful (though taste is subjective). It seems only intended to wake people up early, even though many guests stay multiple days. Early in the morning the cleaning staff get noisy to make sure people are awake for the “music”. Probably for the same reason, the blackout curtains are ineffective, so rooms with east-facing windows become bright and warm very quickly (you can see it in the photos on the site). Breakfast is served from 7 to 9 because check‑out is at 10. I rarely see hotels with breakfast until 9! These are small things that could be improved cheaply to help guests sleep longer in the morning after a late night the previous evening.
