Hotel Garni is a very cozy place, situated just a few minutes’ walk from Sønderborg’s centre in a very quiet neighbourhood. The décor feels homely and the staff make you feel welcome the moment you step through the door. Our room offered a view of Dybbøl Mølle and the sea, and the breakfast was really good. The only downside was that our double bed kept sliding apart.

A small, charming hotel, twenty minutes on foot to the centre. Spotlessly clean and with white tablecloths for breakfast. The morning meal was served in a lovely room with a beautiful view of the fjord, and the breakfast was good without being over the top. The reception was very friendly, and overall it was a lovely experience at a small hotel full of care. Highly recommended.

The location is great, but the beds were very bad and the indoor climate was poor because we stayed in the basement. The breakfast buffet was never restocked.
