“My husband and I were unable to get a full night's sleep”

We chose this hotel for its convenient location, which was right on the route to our destination, and its quiet town setting. The room itself looked clean, which was a plus. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse when we noticed how outdated the room and furniture were. The shower faucet even came loose while I was showering, and the bed had a metal frame with no box spring. The mattress was super firm and lumpy, and the heater fan was ridiculously loud, making it hard to sleep.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help us find some great restaurants in the area. That's about all I can say that's positive, though.

“Cozy country motel”

Our stay at this hotel was generally pleasant, thanks to the clean room and friendly staff. Plus, it was close to where we were doing business, which was a big plus. However, the parking situation was a bit of a hassle, especially since we were pulling a trailer.

I'm still fuming about our disastrous stay at this hotel. We were accused of smoking in the room, which was completely untrue, and had to leave a day early. To make matters worse, we had to spend a night in our pickup truck because they wouldn't let us stay in the room. The only redeeming quality was that it's in our hometown, where I grew up.

The staff at this hotel were super friendly, which was a great start to our stay. The room itself was spotless, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. However, there were a couple of things that let us down - we would have loved to have had access to a coffee machine, and with three of us sharing the room, it was a bit of a squeeze with only two towels and two washcloths provided.
