2 twin beds
The location is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. A little cleaning is needed.
“En medio de la nada sin los beneficios de la nada”
You’re in the middle of nowhere, which is perfect if you want isolation. The views are very pretty and from the restaurant it feels like you’re in the jungle. The woman who runs the place, working at the reception and restaurant, is very friendly and attentive. You expect peace and quiet in the jungle, but between the dogs, chickens, and others you’re awake from 5:00. The cabins are open, so you have all kinds of critters where you sleep— not just insects, also lizards and birds. There was no wardrobe, shelf, or coat rack to store things. The bathroom had no shelf for a toothbrush, and the shower was open to the whole space as is typical in Indonesia, but in this case it soaked everything because it was in the middle of the whole bathroom.
We stayed for 3 nights and liked it a lot. The accommodation is a bit away from the beach, exactly what we wanted. The small huts are very close to nature, and you meet various animals like geckos and spiders. At night you’re well protected by a mosquito net. In the morning you’re woken by the chickens, otherwise it’s very quiet. The food at Vegan Soul Kitchen was absolutely convincing, so we ate there in the morning and evening. Don’t miss the sunset. The staff were helpful and friendly all the time. Definitely worth the experience. It’s hard to find anything negative. If you book this place, expect to encounter some animals and that you’re staying in a hut that’s open at the top. The mosquito net apparently hasn’t been cleaned for a while, but that didn’t bother us. For the price and the type of location, there’s nothing to complain about.
“I will be back again for the 3rd time! It’s so underated and magical! I love Ilo and her family there!”
This place is unlike any other! It offered an amazing atmosphere and great facilities. Though it’s in the middle of the jungle, the road access is easy. It’s honestly a must‑visit; ILO cooked my family beautiful vegan food, all vegan of course! There’s nothing bad to say about this place.
“Ubicado en mitad del bosque sin nada alrededor, comida vegetariana excelente, buen descanso pero si buscas lujos, no los”
The place is quiet, the staff are super friendly, and the food is very tasty. The bathroom cleanliness, mosquito nets, and a heavily rusted fan might need attention.
