The surroundings were cozy and clean, making it easy to unwind. I especially liked how spacious the room felt and how the bathroom didn’t feel stuffy. The staff were polite and patient, and they let me borrow a bike, which I used to visit a temple, a church, and a market—an unforgettable experience.

The place matched the photos exactly. It was very comfortable, quiet, the bathrooms were clean, and the common areas were practical. I didn’t get the experience that many reviews talk about. When we arrived, a guest who hadn’t been notified of our arrival handled us; no one from the accommodation was there and they didn’t bother to contact us. The next day, someone appeared but acted as if nothing had happened. They didn’t explain how things worked (luckily the guest did so with great kindness) and only charged us for the stay. Breakfast, which was included, was just bread and some sweet pastries from the kitchen for self‑service. I can’t criticize it further, and our stay was good, but the reality disappointed me after reading the comments.

If you’re looking for a place to stay while visiting Borobudur, look no further! This hostel is a true hidden gem. From the moment you arrive, you’re immersed in a beautiful, pleasant, green setting with plenty of plants that create a super relaxing vibe. Everything is impeccably clean. The dorms are very comfortable and thoughtfully designed: you maintain real privacy thanks to the layout, which is a huge plus for a hostel. The chill areas are perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing, and the shared kitchen is excellent. But the real highlight is the owner! He is an exceptional host with incredible kindness. Thanks to him, there’s a genuine hostel atmosphere you dream of: a place of sharing, meeting, and authentic exchanges among travelers. The perfect drop‑off point for Borobudur and its surroundings. I recommend it 100 %!
