We were very warmly accompanied during our stay. The ryokan is well furnished. The exceptionally good breakfast and the fresh drinks in the refrigerator were a joy every day! The new sauna across the building is an unexpected surprise in Japan.

This was one of our favorite stays on our trip to Japan, and my biggest regret is that we didn’t book more nights. I loved having a small little house just for us. It was great having a separate bedroom and a separate living‑room area. The staff were super friendly and incredibly patient with us. Linda was especially lovely when my daughter misplaced an item in the room and helped us search for it. She also let us know that the roads to the shrine we wanted to visit were one‑way, which Google Maps didn’t know. The beds were super comfy.
