“Cold comfort”
The room seemed tidy at first glance, yet closer inspection revealed cobwebs, dust under the beds, and dusty furniture, indicating the beds hadn’t been prepared for our arrival. We were woken by a couple who saw an old cat on the road and entered the B&B foyer, disturbing the two occupied rooms while trying to bring the cat inside. A more secure internal lock might prevent such intrusions. The owner appeared to take the cat, and after we collected the room key that evening we never saw anyone else. It was a bit disappointing. I’m not aiming to harm anyone’s reputation; I’m simply sharing what I observed and hoping the owners will address these issues. Best wishes.
