The eco‑friendly vibe was obvious – the adobe cabin stayed warm even though it was chilly, thanks to the glass‑bottle walls. Jonatan and his brother were really friendly and eager to help. It’s a bit out of the way from San Marcos Sierras, but you just follow the big antenna and you’re there. I also enjoyed the little interaction with the chickens roaming around.

The shared dry bathroom was a let‑down – it had a strong odor and the wetland right next to the room seemed to invite a lot of mosquitoes. I wish there were private facilities instead.

Being away from the city center means no car noise, just a natural, peaceful setting that really helps you unwind and think about sustainability. The only drawback is the Wi‑Fi, which doesn’t reach the rooms.

The place feels super cozy – everything’s made of clay, the rooms are rustic yet warm, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Volunteers are kind and the whole project is beautiful; just read the description beforehand because it’s not for every traveler. I didn’t encounter any real issues.

I loved the tranquility here and the staff’s attentive service; there are plenty of spots to relax and soak up the surrounding nature. Their ecological initiatives – water management, waste treatment, composting, and natural construction – are truly impressive.
