They provided plenty of bottled water, towels, and tissues, and because it rained heavily, they turned on the boiler early and kept checking if we needed anything else.

I booked a twin room and added extra guests, but there was only one bed and a single mattress. The staff said the information was wrong and told me to use what I had. The building was constructed 20‑30 years ago, poorly maintained, and seemed indifferent to guests coming or going. When I requested a barbecue, the price was listed as 5,000 won but I was charged 8,000 won, and only five charcoal briquettes were provided for eight people. I would never recommend this place and regret staying here.

The guesthouse was on the property of a mansion in the American Village on Namhae island, and I liked that it was a stand‑alone house. Parking was convenient and the beach and a convenience store were nearby. The owner let me check in a couple of hours earlier than planned because it was pouring rain and my itinerary changed. The place was clean and the towels were adequate. The bed was not very comfortable and the frame squeaked whenever I moved; it could use an upgrade. The front door was tricky to latch. The nightly rate was about 40,000 won higher than any other place I stayed in Busan, Geoje, Suncheon, Gwangju, or Buyeo, perhaps because of a Namhae tax.
