Not much was good, and it wasn’t clean.

The hotel was quiet, the staff polite and friendly, breakfast was included, and they offered a private parking spot which was convenient. However, the room left a lot to be desired: we stayed in a triple room that only had one chair, a single power outlet that forced us to use extension cords that ran across the floor, the floor was noticeably worn and dirty, and the small courtyard area was almost empty of amenities. Overall the staff tried, there are some positives, but for the price you expect a much more comfortable, well‑maintained room and better value for money – that’s the main issue.

We stopped at Hanul Izvor for one night on the road, and overall we were satisfied. The room was clean and cozy, had everything needed for the night, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was convenient to stay for a night while traveling – great location and calm atmosphere.

It was exactly what we needed – an inexpensive hotel for a large family celebrating a wedding. The shortcomings can be overlooked because the staff were very good and it was cheap.
