The spot was ideal for visiting the Pont du Gard, less than 10 minutes from the parking on both banks and a bakery nearby for a quick morning refill before leaving. We couldn’t use the pool, but we swam in the river instead, so remember to bring swimsuits if you’re visiting in season. Check the reception hours before arriving to avoid waiting, and the family rooms can feel a bit small for older kids—two rooms might have been more comfortable for us. Otherwise, nothing to note for a one‑night stay.

“Heerlijk!”

A fantastic place—no traditional chambre d’hôtes because there’s no breakfast, but beautiful guest rooms in a very characteristic French house. We loved the authentic, typical French vibe and the lovely garden to sit in. Isabelle is a top hostess who enjoys making guests feel at home, and the location is great.

“Great location for visiting Pont du Gard”

The location was great for visiting the Pont du Gard and a convenient stop on our way to Nîmes and Carcassonne. The house has lots of character, is nicely decorated, colorful, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, the modern bathroom was narrow but spacious, and the air conditioning was a welcome relief during the heat wave. Multiple sitting rooms, a dining area, and a large outdoor space offered plenty of places to relax. The sign can be easy to miss from the road, but once inside we found ample parking. Check‑in ran from 5 pm to 7:30 pm, so we could explore the Pont du Gard and its museum beforehand. While Uzès is recommended for restaurants, we discovered a lovely gluten‑free crepe spot in nearby Remoulins.

Not much to say. The pool was almost green, the bathroom was too small, there was no TV, the bed was uncomfortable—overall not the best, despite the owner’s friendliness.

The room was comfy and only 5‑10 minutes on foot from the Pont du Gard museum entrance, and the hosts were very welcoming. The shared fridge and microwave were also appreciated.
