Location. Cleanliness, lack of basic items such as soap.

Perfect location for walking around the city center, close to the market, pharmacy, pet shop and gym. Truly pet friendly; the dogs that live in the apartment appreciated the grassy yard and the spacious house. On Friday night some residents use the street to make a lot of noise with motorcycles.

The guesthouse is just a stone's throw from downtown Penedo, which made getting around a breeze. The house itself was fine, but I really missed basic kitchen gear—no pots, no broom, no floor mop—so cooking was a bit of a hassle. Other than that, the place was pretty decent.
