Nothing in particular stands out, but the building feels dated, the meals are ordinary, the outdoor bath is cramped, and the scenery isn't that impressive.

The hotel faces Atami beach, the rooftop onsen is well maintained and open day and night, the room is huge like an apartment with a panoramic window overlooking a scenic beach, and dinner is served and prepared in the room. Some details need attention: the traditional rooms have a hint of odor (normal for onsens) so a diffuser in the living area would help, and it would be nice to have a large towel for the bathroom and another for the in‑room bath.
