“Nice hotel, great location, charming.”
The place is in a great spot, the staff were very helpful, it was clean, and it has colonial charm. I personally need a window that lets in fresh air to sleep; the photos show a window, but it opens to the enclosed interior courtyard, so no fresh air comes in.
“The hotel delivered exactly what it promised: a room as described, a well-functioning shower, attentive staff, and a gre”
Everything was good, and the price was fair.
I could not recommend this hotel more! Located 1 block from Plaza Grande (main square in the historic old town) it is the perfect location for walking around the city. The room was cozy and clean. The best part about the hotel was the staff. From the second we walked in the door we were welcomed and truly made to feel like part of their family. Our room was cleaned every day and we were able to leave our bags after checking out to continue to explore the city before our flight. Breakfast was included and was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again my next trip to Quito
“Uma hospedagem que combina localização, história e acolhida calorosa de seus proprietários.”
The hotel sits in a great spot on Rua Venezuela, just a block from Praça Grande, and from the front you can see both El Panecillo and the Basílica del Voto Nacional. Nearby you’ll find plenty of restaurants and chocolate shops. The place is run by the couple Patrício and Lucia along with their family. Built in 1875, the building was fully renovated while keeping its historic architecture and décor. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast is a whole experience: served at the table by Mrs. Lucia, who wears traditional Otavalo attire, adding a touch of local culture. She explains the regional juices, offers coffee, fruit salad, bread, and eggs, all freshly made and served with great care.
“Unos agradables días en Quito”
Family lodging right in Quito’s historic center, with a super friendly and close‑knit service from doña Lucía and her son Luis, making the stay very pleasant and quiet. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the homemade breakfast varied each day with natural juices, fresh fruit and homemade jams.
