I liked the staff and the room really made us feel at ease; I’d love to return. Breakfast was amazing—I had nasi goreng for my morning meal. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

The scenery outside is beautiful, the owner is very friendly and attentive, and they can help book mountain guides and rafting trips; the location is close to the trailhead. The hot water isn’t hot enough, and the remote spot makes shopping and dining less convenient (the hotel does offer food delivery).

The location is close to the departure point for the Agung trek. The quiet, the view, the equipment, and the host’s service were all excellent.
