The internet/Wi‑Fi was the worst in all my travel experience; if you need to work while traveling, you’ll have to find another place. The room itself was nice, but the bathroom was dirty most of the time. The location is amazing.

The cleaning was good. Everything else was fine.

The location is the only redeeming feature of this place. You’re supposed to get what you pay for, but at Fortel they steal the security deposit from your card. So for staying in a place barely better than a minimum‑security prison, you end up paying as if you were at a Holiday Inn. Thieves.

I liked the location, the lobby and the architecture, but the hygiene was awful – over two nights I got 25 bed‑bug bites on my legs. The shower smelled musty and the bedding wasn’t clean when I arrived. The receptionist was hardly ever there and overall cleaning was minimal. There were almost no social activities to bring travelers together, so it felt more like a hotel than a community. I left a day early because I couldn’t risk sleeping in that bed again.

The spot was great, but the check‑in was a mess; after half an hour I could finally get in thanks to the shop next door because nobody was at reception, and even then I waited over an hour, costing me the whole afternoon.
