The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the room we got was spacious, clean, and had a large window. It wasn't on the main road but was only a few minutes' walk from restaurants, which I liked because it felt calmer than the traffic and gave a natural feel while I was enjoying the pool. On the downside, they served me a breakfast I didn't want without asking first, even though it was paid. Also, when I hired the hotel driver to take me to a place, he took me on a plant tour without asking me if I wanted to go.

My friends and I, six of us, occupied a roomy family suite that had a king bed and four single beds. Because it was on the ground floor, we could step straight onto the pool—a nice perk. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel sits just a few minutes' drive from Sigiriya Lion Rock, Pidurangala Rock, and other cultural sights, and the neighborhood is great for a morning run. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and good‑value stay in Sigiriya. I highly recommend it.

The location was the highlight of this hotel; we could see Sigiriya rock, and it was down a quiet road yet still close to restaurants and sights. The pool was surprisingly big for a hotel of this size. On the downside, breakfast was fine but very basic, and the wall sockets were old English style, so we had no adapter, though our driver managed to find one in town.
