I stayed in a quiet spot not far from the center, in a large house that looks like it’s meant for parties and groups; the shared kitchen was big but only had a kettle and a table, no stove. The room was clean. The bed was uncomfortable and sagged.

The place is beautiful, and the lady who welcomed us was very friendly and gave us clear directions (she spoke good English, which isn’t a given). Akhaltsikhe is semi‑mountainous, so the schedule, temperatures, and liveliness follow that pattern.

We liked everything. The hosts are very warm and responsive. The guest house is tastefully built, with a nice courtyard and spots to relax. Everything is clean and cozy.

You could probably park a motorcycle on the private grounds. The courtyard is gorgeous.

The rooms are very pretty. The hotel complex has many seating areas under a roof and grapevines. The breakfast is generous, and the host is helpful. Highly recommended.
