The location was ideal and the host was very attentive; the accommodation was quiet and private. However, the split‑level layout meant the bathroom was downstairs with a very steep staircase, which was hard to negotiate at times.

We were warmly welcomed. A mini‑fridge or kettle would have been handy, but we found a solution with our host in the kitchen.

The seaside location was great and the town is less touristy. A short walk takes you to a small mussels and oysters restaurant with reasonable prices and excellent quality. The accommodation feels a bit tucked away and the sea isn’t visible, and there’s no kettle for tea.
