ibis Birmingham Airport Terminal Building - NEC

The location is very convenient for NEC and the airport, and the staff were decent, but the bathroom is the same plastic cube you’d find on a cruise ship—far from a hotel‑standard solution, and the property is getting old.

“Airport convenient. Not much else in the area.”

It’s close to the airport, but any “extras” were quite pricey for residents, especially since there’s nothing else nearby.

“Eases the difficulty of an early flight!”

The place was cheap, clean, comfortable, and convenient, but some guests need to remember that others have early flights and there’s no need to yell at each other in the corridor or bang doors—though that’s not the hotel’s fault.

“What you’d expect from this hotel chain”

The location is good and the place is clean. The step up to the bathroom made the whole bathroom feel like a pod.

“It’s okay for one night but that’s about all you can say”

Great location. Tired looking hotel
