The place looked cozy and traditional, but the lobby furniture was covered in a thick layer of dust, the light switches had dark fingerprints, and the rooftop terrace was littered with trash. The curtain rail on my lower bunk fell off right away, and the unsafe Electra outlet left me unable to charge my phone. The worst part was the manager letting my passport copy drift unattended in the lobby – anyone could have taken it.

A very good, affordable spot with a friendly staff who were also very nice. The price was a bit tough on peace of mind.

We arrived at 5 am and could check in and sleep straight away; the shower had hot water, the owners were lovely and treated us like family, even inviting us to the best dinner we’d had in India. In the end they wouldn’t let us hail a tuk‑tuk and insisted on driving us to the station, which was so sweet! I’d just suggest adding curtains to the dorm beds.

The hosts were extremely friendly, the setup was simple but great, and there was nothing missing. The rooftop terrace was a bonus – highly recommended! It can get a bit noisy outside at night.
