“Very nice and friendly staff!”
I love this place—it’s the only spot I stay when I visit Tupelo. The safe is nice, the rooms are clean, the scent is good (which matters to me because I have a strong noise sensitivity), and Mrs. Carissa—she was the house‑keeping lady—was memorable with her customer service and greeting.

The rooms were clean and comfortable overall, and we liked the breakfast options—there was something for everyone. We stayed in three rooms during our visit. In one queen bedroom, a bed had a strong urine odor that we didn’t notice until the baby was already asleep in the pack‑n‑play, so we couldn’t sleep on that bed. Since the baby was asleep, we stayed in the room and told the hotel in the morning. At 5:45 a.m., the smoke alarms went off and woke everyone; there was no communication from staff unless guests went downstairs to ask. Someone should have been on each floor explaining that it was a false alarm. When checking out, we mentioned the foul‑smelling mattress, but there was no apology or acknowledgment from the staff, which was disappointing.

The whole place was spotless—every corner, even the parking lot, was clean and nicely landscaped. There was nothing negative; everything was perfect.

The front desk staff exceeded expectations. I was allowed to check in early because I was camping the night before and our air mattress burst in the middle of the night. After hours of agony on ground with only tent bottom, packed up and arrived at Tru before noon and was given a room early. The fire alarm went off. Elevators shut down. Evacuated 4 flights down to outside NWS Heat WARNING. No elevator access after alarms stopped. As I am having knee replacement surgery, ate dinner before crawling up 4flights. No elevators next morning
