We liked the location and the good sound insulation when the windows were closed, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were dirty and very old, with hardly any space to hang or store items; there were no wardrobes, no fridge, and no kettle.

The hotel is very nice and offers the best value for money.

Breakfast was truly extensive, the hotel sits near the train station, rooms are nice and overall the place is very clean, staff are friendly and helpful, and the gentleman at check‑in even wrote down restaurant suggestions for us. In the evenings, however, there wasn’t enough staff, so the bar couldn’t prepare all the drinks.

The bed was very comfortable. We had stayed here several years ago and had a great impression, which is why we returned, but this time the stay was disappointing. The hotel looked overall unkempt and dirty; hallway carpets and the carpet in our room were heavily soiled, and an unpleasant smell greeted us when we opened the door. The staff’s appearance was unprofessional—both at reception and during breakfast, they seemed sloppy and careless, sometimes with unkempt hair. We simply missed a tidy and professional presence that a hotel should provide, and it was a shame because our earlier visit left a much better memory.
