Easy to find, comfortable, helpful staff, lovely food, good car parking. It was a bit noisy during the night but stopped promptly at 5.30

The hotel is great, the facilities are good, and they allow pets. It was very busy, so we couldn’t get a table at the restaurant for dinner, but they let us eat at the bar, which was great. The place was very busy.

The dinner staff were very kind and polite, even when they looked busy. The meals at both dinner and breakfast were great, and I liked the room, though it was a little cramped. When I entered, the air‑conditioning made a loud noise, so I called reception. They sent someone to check it, but the only advice was to turn it off. The room was cold and I didn’t want to sleep without heat, so the lady handed me a small electric heater. For the price I paid for a small room, I expected a better fix.

On site car charging, coffee machine in room. Room layout: although we didn't specifically book a two floor maisonette room (in fact, I actively tried to not book one), this is what we got. It seems 1/3 of all rooms are like this. The steep stairs make the room altogether small and inconvenient. You have to be very careful not to misstep at night Aircon location and noise: the Aircon was directly above our bed. It made a loud noise
