warm welcome. help with luggage. Clean. Comfortable bed. well positioned. quiet at rear. Access to sink and toilet insufficient couldnt get hot water in shower

This is an absolutely smashing place to stay for a holiday. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The guesthouse is kept spotless, and my room was extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Folkestone and the surrounding area. I would 100% stay here again

I had a great stay at Kentmere, conveniently close to the railway station, and the room rate was very reasonable. Communication with the hosts was good, and they were super helpful and accommodating. No complaints from me, and while the bathroom comments were accurate, I didn’t see it as a concern for the price.

The host was excellent and friendly, offering great value for the price. The location sits conveniently between the station and town centre, and the bed was comfortable. The en‑suite was very tiny, so the shower curtain stuck to me while showering. A bit of traffic noise came through the window when open, but I’d expect quieter rooms on the back of the property.
