The location, décor, cleanliness, and service were all spot on.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. From the moment I entered everything was spotless, and the room stayed clean and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable. The room came with a fridge, kettle, tea, sugar, mugs, bottled water, and glasses. The bathroom had towels and a hair dryer. When I visit Opatów again, we’ll look for accommodation in the Kamienica.

I didn’t like it at all because we were given a tiny room on the top floor with windows shaped like gun barrels. I asked for a change since my husband and I have claustrophobia, but it wasn’t possible and the staff simply refunded me, saying “you don’t like it, tough luck.” That’s not what we wanted; we wanted to spend the weekend sightseeing and relaxing, but the staff didn’t suggest any alternatives. In the end we went home, losing money on fuel and nerves over wasted time.
