“Good breakfast, but narrow staircases and unclear room allocation.”
Breakfast started at 8:00 AM and guests could refill coffee and water all day; the hotel sits within walking distance of Split Old Town. The property has only five rooms on three floors—one on the first, two on the second, and two on the third—no elevator, and the stairways are very narrow and steep, which is tough for heavy luggage or mobility issues. Room 1 on the first floor with red walls is the most convenient for avoiding the stairs. I had expected beige walls but was given Room 3 on the second floor, blue walls facing the courtyard; the allocation process was unclear and I didn’t know which room I’d get. The reception isn’t regularly staffed, so staff were largely unavailable during the day, which can be inconvenient. Having stayed elsewhere in Split, I found that other place’s location and accessibility better. I wouldn’t stay here again, mainly because of the narrow staircases, and I hope this helps future guests decide if the property fits their needs.
