Breakfast was excellent, with a new menu prepared by the chef each morning during my stay. The inn was quaint and small, with a few quirks that added character but also revealed its age; overall the positives far outweighed the minor negatives.

The furnishings were tidy and old-fashioned, and the place was close to local shops and eateries. The side entrance had slick steps and no handrail, which was a drawback.

The food was excellent. we did their fixed price dinner and it was exceptional. convenient for the activities we attended on Chincoteague. Parking was a plus. our only comment would be the building needs a paint job!

I really appreciated how spacious the room and bathroom were, and the spot was ideal for Pony Penny events. The only issue was the lack of clear communication about breakfast hours; we didn’t realize it ended before 9:30 a.m., so we missed it.
