“Frans op z’n best”
Ideal location to explore the region with plenty of charming villages, restaurants, the Atlantic Ocean, and nearby shops. A relaxed, quiet spot with a large garden where chickens happily wander. The breakfast was excellent with homemade and regional products. If you’re not a fan of animals (dog/cat) or are allergic, you’ll want to look elsewhere; the dog and cat roam the area where breakfast is served.
“Bilderbuch-Frankreich”
Nice, historic, well‑maintained property in a very quiet setting with a cat, dog, and chickens (though they were only audible after 9:30). Attentive, humorous, and patient hosts. Entertaining shared breakfast for guests in the fireplace room. Great location for trips to the nearby coast or towns.
“a recommander pour passé un séjour agréable”
le lieu était joli, la chambre bien décorée, l'accueil très chaleureux, nous avons passé quelques jours très agréable. le petit déjeuner copieux et soigné
L’Armandière is a typical Norman farm surrounded by nature, animals, greenery, and absolute silence that gives a real sense of peace. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and very functional, with a separate room for the kids and truly comfy beds. Véronique is a welcoming, helpful host who makes you feel at home instantly. Breakfast was beautiful: selected products, a large shared table, and guests from different countries who, for an hour, become a small extended family ready to start the day WELL together. The country‑chic style of the house is authentic and lived, telling the owners’ passions. The location is very convenient for discovering this part of Normandy, from Rouen to Veules‑les‑Roses (typical market where you can buy local specialties) Étretat and the beautiful beaches framed by the cliffs of the Côte d’Albâtre. A postcard‑worthy place full of atmosphere, where staying really means slowing down.
“A little paradise - peaceful and gentle”
The breakfast was fantastic, especially the homemade fennel butter that tasted amazing, along with a range of perfectly ripe local cheeses, croissants, and homemade confiture. The eggs came from their own chickens and were boiled to perfection—absolutely delightful.
