The room was stunning and the setting beautiful. Charly, the host, clearly loves what she does and helped us find a spot to watch the show last night, and her breakfast was second to none. We were disappointed that we only stayed for one night. The area and the room were both lovely.

The place is lovely, very comfortable and charming – nothing was wrong, it was perfect.

The host was lovely and the breakfast served in the room was great. The location, an ancient Anglo‑Saxon village in the countryside, was fabulous, and a great Portuguese restaurant/pub was just in the next village. Nothing to add.

De warme ontvangst van de zeer oprecht vriendelijke host. Ligging in een mooi authentiek dorpje. Geweldig ontbijt.

A nice place for a short stay, with The Plough Pub only a few metres away. Lady Charlie gave us a nice breakfast, and she was really nice and helpful.
