It was nice that there were activities for children. However, the buffet hall was far too cramped for the number of rooms, and they need to rethink where to store items like silverware.

The pool, the open‑air bath attached to the room, and the buffet were all fantastic. On the downside, the air‑conditioning in the room didn’t work, which made it hard to sleep.

The room was spacious enough for a family of four, so we didn’t mind the neighboring guests at all. The pool had a slide and was a lot of fun. Because we booked only a few hours before arrival, dinner wasn’t included; I expected at least some food for sale at the hotel, but only cup‑noodles were available, so I wish I’d bought something beforehand.

The room was large, but moving around the building took far too long.

Soaking in the open‑air bath with Mount Asama in view was wonderful, and the welcome drink came with soft‑serve ice cream that delighted the kids. I also appreciated having two sets of towels in the room since I wanted to use the hot springs a lot. The living area didn’t match the photos I’d imagined, which was a bit disappointing, and the indoor shower was broken—water leaked from the hose‑head joint and sprayed where it shouldn’t.
