It’s a castle, though we stayed in the newer annexes, and everything is clean, spacious, and not the damp castle you sometimes hear about; the pool views and the castle breakfast are cinematic. The location isn’t the most convenient, but it’s worth the trip, especially since there isn’t much to do nearby—just enjoy the hotel!

Breakfast was super tasty, had everything you could wish for, and was presented beautifully; I would have loved to keep eating, but that was impossible with such a large selection; the only note was that you should book dinner early.

The accommodation was amazing in the historic castle complex and nearby courtyard, the breakfasts were excellent, the pool was large, it was quiet, and it was relaxing.
