The hotel’s location is convenient, close to the city center. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, there was no elevator. Bathroom lighting for the mirror was inadequate. The room also lacked a mini‑fridge.

The continental breakfast was plentiful and tasty, the beds comfortable, and even though the hotel is close to the train station, the noise level was manageable. The only downside was that, like most hotels, there was no towel hook near the shower entrance.

The room was spacious, freshly renovated, with comfy beds, high ceilings, and a view of the opera house. It came with a kettle, coffee maker, large wardrobe, new plumbing and appliances, and everything was impeccably clean. Unfortunately, there was no staff present; when we checked out we didn’t know who to hand the key card to because the machine gave us another card instead of checking out. No one answered our messages, there was no elevator, and the open window made it quite noisy.

The building’s old‑style architecture has been nicely updated to meet modern expectations. Everything was friendly and the location—near the train station, theatre, and park—was great, so I’d recommend it. The only issue was that, for a single night, the TV’s channel selection was damaged; an expert would need to look into the channel allocation, but what I found was completely unacceptable.

Right across from the Baroque Theatre and the main train station, close to Hofwiesenpark and the city centre, the digital self‑check‑in at the kiosk worked smoothly and quickly. There is a free parking spot right at or behind the building. Because the hotel sits on the main road, tram line and train station, it was very noisy at night and in the morning, making it impossible to sleep with the window open.
