I had to pay $30 a day for parking in a public lot across the street because the hotel has no on‑site parking. I booked two king rooms and asked at check‑in if they were identical; the front desk said yes, but the rooms were very different. One was decent with a full bathroom; the other was almost half the size, with the sink beside the bed and the toilet and shower on the opposite side. Worse, the bed was broken and tilted noticeably to one side, and the heating would turn on and then refuse to shut off. Feeling short‑changed, I went to the front desk where a young woman was confrontational, offered no apology or solution, and grew more hostile. I asked when the manager would be available and was told the next day, but we never got to speak with them. After I left, the employee started typing and pounding on the desk, and we had to sit through that while waiting in the lobby. Later, another young woman became unnecessarily aggressive when we borrowed the only umbrella from the stand; we used it and returned it, but were then told we couldn’t use it again, even though we later saw about six umbrellas available. Between the uneven room conditions, broken bed, uncontrollable heating, $30 parking fee, and four flights of stairs we had to climb with all our luggage, the stay was disappointing. The staff’s attitude made it unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but basic courtesy and customer service should never be optional. I would not recommend this hotel.
