Honestly, the property was stunning. The owners were charming and had thought of everything; the place was spotless and fully stocked. The bed was incredibly comfortable after a long drive. They kept milk in the fridge and had cereals ready. I wish I could have stayed longer. I’ve stayed at both of the owners’ properties in recent months and, having stayed almost everywhere, I can say there’s nothing better in town. I appreciate how classy yet simple it feels, not pretentious. The backyard is amazing, letting you wash clothes, hang them out, and barbecue, so it feels like home. The only downside was that I couldn’t stay for a week 🤣.

We never met the hosts, but the notes, supplies, and text messages were thoughtful and proactive, even including a reassuring note about Bogong moths. The room and property were beautifully presented, well equipped, quiet, and comfortable. We had a room with a generous ensuite and kitchenette. The shared kitchen area is very spacious and attractive. I’d call Perrington Estate a jewel in Nyngan’s crown and a superb place to stay. Maybe adding a couple of armchairs would be nice.
