“Charming oasis in need of a little TLC...”

The location is excellent—close to the action but peaceful when you need to recover from the wonderful chaos of the medina. Mehdi at reception was charming and couldn’t do enough for us; we were very grateful to get early access to our room, which was super spacious. Like most riads at this price point, it’s a little rough around the edges. Maintenance of this beautiful space could be improved: we had missing fittings in our shower and both sun loungers were broken. Also the pool (which is on the ground floor and not the roof top as some websites might have you believe) could have done with a clean and a top‑up.

The staff are attentive and friendly. Thanks to Hurel, who was very kind and reassuring, and to Omar, who explained what was nearby when we arrived. The location of the Riad is top and it’s easy to find. The breakfast is very modest (we ended up having lunch outside the Riad). We couldn’t sleep properly because there were loud construction noises during two mornings, right next to our room (starting around 8 am). There aren’t many facilities, especially no iron.

“Amazing”

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Tizgui! The breakfast Mehdi served was amazing, Hurel was always there to help us late at night, and Omar made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. Everyone made us feel at home. The service was professional, but also genuinely warm, and we enjoyed our conversations with the whole team. We’ll definitely be back. A big thank you to everyone who made our stay so special!
