The host offered excellent support, the area is relatively quiet and feels safe, grocery stores are nearby, and the nearby residential streets have good, affordable restaurants. The property matches its description, but be careful when navigating the typical Dutch staircase.

The kindness and attentiveness of Isabel were very helpful and friendly. The room was very small and the walls were thin; the photos show little space, but in reality the door opens into a cramped, Tetris‑like layout. The bathroom light, when turned on, also triggers the extractor, which makes a disturbing noise that doesn't stop with the light; a single second of light results in a long period of noise that you hear from the bed. Everything in the building is audible—entrances, exits, other guests, the creaking floor—everything. The towels we had were quite used, and one had three holes. When I informed Isabel, she fixed it immediately. The breakfast was not worth it: 1) It’s not in the Airbnb, but at a nearby café; 2) No change options—just a coffee, a glass of juice, a croissant, a yogurt, and a hard‑boiled egg. When we asked the girl the first day if a non‑sweet option was possible, she said no. No alternatives meant we had to pay extra for a salty item. Three days of croissants for the extra price we paid. 3) The café staff were not worth mentioning; other guests have noted the same. Despite Isabel’s good service, it doesn’t justify the price. The location is great and the hosts are very nice, but the second room was very small for two people staying for four days.

“Excellent! Would definitely recommend it!”

The location is superb, and the owners are informative and friendly. The room is lovely with a lovely bed, and the location alone is worth it. Minor things could be improved, such as better lighting for a night of chilling after a long day; small improvements here and there would help.
